You will be welcomed by a representative of the company at the airport. He will take you to your hotel and help you settle in. After that, he will provide you with details of the plan for the rest of the day. You will have a few spare hours before the welcome dinner that you can relax and get used to Nepal's time & climate. During your welcome dinner, you will meet with your guide, and he will inform you about the trip.
Everest Three Pass Trek Itinerary

Day 01 Welcome to Kathmandu (1360m/4462ft)

Day 02 Explore Kathmandu (1360m/4462ft) - 4/5 hours day tour
After waking up early in the morning and having breakfast, we will begin our guided Kathmandu city tour. The first landmark that we will visit is Pashupatinath Temple, which is a sacred Hindu temple. Boudhanath is nearby and it is our next stop. Boudhanath is the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. Then, our tour proceeds to the famous monkey temple, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. While we are on tour, the company will arrange all the necessary permits. In the evening, we will arrange our gear and prepare for the trek.

Day 03 Fly to Lukla (2840m/9320ft) and trek to Phakding (2652m/8700ft) -3/4 hours
This morning, we will fly to Lukla. The flight will be 35 minutes long, and we will provide a fantastic view of the Himalaya. From Lukla, we will descend to Cheplung village, which will welcome us with beautiful views of Mt. Khumbila (5,761 m). Then, the trek continues through the forested trail until we reach Phakding for the night stay.

Day 04 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft) - 5/6 hours
Trekking across a river, we will pass through lush forests of blue pine & rhododendron. We will then cross the Dudh Koshi river at Benkar from where we will see a marvellous view of Kusum Kanguru, Mt. Thamserku, and various other mountains. Then, we will climb on a relatively difficult trail and reach the meeting point of the Bhote Koshi river and Dudh Koshi river. From here, we cross a high suspension bridge and ascend to reach Namche Bazar. We will see excellent views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) and other Himalayan mountains from here.

Day 05 Acclimatization Day - Namche Bazaar (3440m /11286ft) - 34/5 hours hike
Today is our acclimatization day in Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar is the largest Sherpa residence area of the Khumbu region as well as the most commercial place. There are a lot of things that can be done here and one day is surely not enough. We can hike up to Everest View Hotel for outstanding views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), Mt. Kongde (6,187 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), and Mt. Thamserku (6,623 m), or visit Khumjung Hillary School, Sherpa Culture Museum, and Everest Photo Gallery to experience a deeper insight into the daily life, culture & tradition of the locals residing here. We can also visit a colorful market, several shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Day 06 Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m/12664ft) -4/5 hours
Today, we will trek to Tengboche village where we will visit Tengboche monastery. Our visit to this monastery will let us take a step closer into the spiritual minds of the locals. Tengboche monastery is the region's largest and oldest monastery. We will also see excellent views of Mt.Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Kantega (6,782 m), and other mountains from here.

Day 07 Tengboche to Dingboche (4420m/14501ft) -4/5 hours
We will trek through lush forests of rhododendron, fir, birch, and juniper. The trail will take us to Imja Khola that we will cross via a bridge. From here, we will ascend and reach Pangboche from where closer views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) can be seen. Following an alpine hillside, we will cross the Imja Khola for a second time and reach Dingboche, the summer valley of the Khumbu region.

Day 08 Dingboche: Acclimatization (4420m/14501ft) -4/5 hours day trip
Another acclimatization day, and this time, we will be traversing Dingboche. Dingboche is a picturesque village enclosed by walls to protect potatoes, barley, and buckwheat fields from freezing winds and animals. We have the option to hike either to Chukhung or Nagarjun Hill for fantastic views of the mountain landscape.

Day 09 Dingboche to Chukhung (4730m/15518ft) -3/4 hours
Leaving Dingboche behind, we will walk through stone walled fields. On the way, we will see Mt. Lhotse on our left and Mt. Ama Dablam on our right. From here, we will reach a place called Bibre, which is a yak herdsman's place. The trail will provide a stunning view of Island Peak and lead us to Chukhung village where we will stop for the night.
After Lunch, We might take the opportunity to hike to the rocky knoll of Chukhung Ri at 5546m, which offers stunning views of Lhotse (8,516 m), Island Peak (6,189 m), Mt. Makalu (8,481 m) and several other mountains including Baruntse (7,129 m).

Day 10 Chukhung rest day (4730m/15518ft)
We will take plenty of rest days during our trek so that we can complete this trek without any issues. These rest days also give us enough time to admire the beauty of this region. From Chukhung, we can ascend to Island Peak Base Camp (4,970 m) to see amazing views of the region. Trekking along the Lhotse glacier, we will pass by the waters of Imja Lake. We can see the south face of Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m) in the north, Amphu Lapcha & high ice walls in the south, and eastern face of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) in the southwest.

Day 11 Chukhung to Lobuche (4910m/ 16108ft)via Kongma La (5535m/18159ft) - 8/9 hours
Today, we are going to cross the first pass of this trek, Kongma La Pass (5535m/18160ft). The trekking time will be the same as any other day, but the rugged trail will exhaust us. However, the gorgeous landscape will accompany us throughout the trail. There are two routes from Chukhung to reach Lobuche while crossing the pass. The first one is ascending over a hill to the northwest of Chukhung over the moraine of the Nuptse glacier. Whereas the second route takes us back to Bible and follows the high trail above Niyang Khola. Looking at the situation i.e. climate we will follow either of the trails and reach Lobuche.

Day 12 Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170m/16961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) -7/8 hours
Trekking along a lateral moraine of the Khumbu glacier, we will see the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Nuptse, Pumori, Lingtern, Khumbutse, and many others. Then, we will ascend and reach Gorak Shep. We are already walking at high altitude and gaining more altitude with every single step, which makes for a challenging ascent. We will pass by rocky dunes, moraine, and streams to reach Everest Base Camp (5364m/17598ft). EBC will welcome us with rejuvenating ambiance, the world's high mountains, and a striking white & grey landscape. After a few hours, we will descend to Gorak Shep for the night stay.

Day 13 Gorak Shep to Lobuche (4910m/16108ft) via Kala Patthar (5545m/18992ft) -7/8 hours
We will wake up early in the morning to see a splendid sunrise from the Kala Patthar (5545m/18192ft) viewpoint. Trekking in the pre-dawn gloom on a steep and rugged trail, we will reach Kala Patthar from where we will see one of the most dramatic sunrises of our lives. Moreover, Kala Patthar also offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and numerous other peaks. After spending some time at this viewpoint, we will trek down to Lobuche to stay the night.

Day 14 Lobuche to Dzongla (4830m/15840ft) -4/5 hours
The trek begins with a downhill walk along the Khumbu glacier. We will come across two routes and follow the trail that goes on our right. On the way, we will see the view of Awi Peak and pass by stupas, gompas, and tombstones. The trail ascends and passes by small lakes. Crossing the Chola Khola, we reach Dzongla.

Day 15 Trek to Gokyo (4790m/15715ft) via Cho La pass (5420m/17782ft) -8/9 hours
Today is another exciting and difficult trekking day as we will cross another pass. As we begin trekking, we will see Cho La Lake along with Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) on the south and Mt. Cholatse (6,440 m) to the west. We slowly ascend along a trail covered with loose rocks and we will reach the top of the Cho La Pass (5420m/17782ft). After a hard climb, we will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the surrounding peaks. From here, we will descend to Thangnak. Then, trekking along the edge of Ngozumpa glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal, we reach Gokyo village to stay the night.

Day 16 Rest day in Gokyo: Climb Gokyo Ri (5360m/17585ft), tour 4th and 5th Gokyo lakes -5/6 hours
Today, we will hike up to Gokyo Ri (5360m/17585ft) for an incredible mountain view. Alternatively, we can hike to the fourth and fifth Gokyo lakes located around 3 km north of Gokyo village. At the 5th lake, we can hike to Scoundrel's Viewpoint from where striking views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Makalu (8481 m), and Gyachung Kang (7,952 m) can be seen. After spending some time at Gokyo Ri, we will descend to Gokyo village to stay overnight.

Day 17 Gokyo to Lungde (4380m/14370ft) via Renjo La Pass (5360m/17580ft) -8/9 hours
We will begin trekking early in the morning. Trekking along the Dudh Pokhari, we will ascend to Renjo La Pass (5340m/17520ft). On the way, we will see a wonderful view of Rolwaling and the Himalayan range. From Renjo La Pass, we will see an excellent view of Gokyo village and the Gokyo Lakes. Then, we will descend stone staircases and trek to reach the south bank of the Angladumba Tsho Lake. From here, the trail will take us to Lungde where we will stay overnight.

Day 18 Lungde to Thame (3800m/12470ft) -3/4 hours
After breakfast, we will descend to Marulung. From here, we will follow the route that was used by Tibetan traders centuries ago. Then, after crossing the Bhote Koshi River, we will descend to Taranga and continue descending. Before reaching Thame, we will again cross two bridges.

Day 19 Thame to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft) - 4/5 hours
Today, the trail will short and easy. Descending along forested paths and small villages, we will reach Namche Bazar. We will have enough time to relax and taste delicious food or explore places we have missed on the first visit.

Day 20 Namche Bazaar to Phakding (2652m/8700ft) -4/5 hours
Descending through the lush forests along the rugged trail, we will reach Phakding village where we will stay overnight.

Day 21 Phakding to Lukla (2860m/9320ft) -3/4 hours
We will cross a bridge and ascend through dense forest. The trail will take us back to Lukla where we stay overnight. Today, we will also celebrate our success in completing the trek.

Day 22 Depart Kathmandu (1360m/4462ft) -35 minutes flight
After a morning tea/coffee, we will fly back to Kathmandu with splendid views of the Himalayan range. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will drive to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the market and go shopping. In the evening, we will go on a farewell dinner.
