Ghorepani Poon Hill trek route:

Ghorepani Poon Hill trek begins with an adventurous drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara during which, you will see lush green hills, dense forests, rivers, small settlements, terraced fields, and waterfalls. From Pokhara, you will drive for around an hour and trek to Tikhedhunga. Then, the trail will take you to Ghorepani villages surrounded by forests. The next day, you will begin your day early in the morning, and hike up to Poon Hill for a dramatic scenic view. After spending some time at the top of the hill, you will descend to Ghorepani and have your breakfast. Later on the same day, you will descend to Tadapani and spend a night there. You will then drive back to Pokhara and your journey comes to an end.

Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is an easy trek in the Annapurna region. However, the trail will include numerous ascents and descents on a rugged forested path that does demand good physical fitness. Note:

Due to global warming, the weather in the mountains and hilly regions has become more unpredicatable. Because of this, we are facing some problems with bad weather, heavy rainfall, landslidel, blocked highways and flight delays and cancellations. Sometimes because of the road traffic, we are unable to arrive on time. It may happen at any time of the year because we cannot predict the weather conditiosn and other situations. Therefore, if possible, we would like to suggest adding an extra supplement day before your international flight. If everything goes well, you will have a beautiful day to visit any interesting place in the historical city of Kathmandu.
