Makalu Base Camp Trek passes through the Makalu Barun National Park, which makes the journey wild and adventures. The trail passes through a lush green area, which is the habitat of numerous species of birds including some rare birds and 75 species of mammals including snow-leopard, red panda, and musk deer. The lower region of the park is filled with beautiful rhododendron forests, while the upper region includes stunning waterfalls, hanging glaciers, and superb granite cliffs. This blend of natural elements presents you with a very distinctive Himalayan landscape. You will see panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt.
