Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative from Snowland Treks. He will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax. In the evening, you will meet with your guide. He will brief you about the trip program, and you will end your day with a welcome dinner.
Mardi Himal Trek -10 days Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,360m/4,464ft)

Day 02 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara(900m./2952ft)
After breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara. The drive will present captivating views of lush green hills, rivers, terraced farms, small villages, and beautiful waterfalls along the way. Upon reaching Pokhara, we will head to our hotel. In the evening, we will visit Phewa Lake and go boating on it. We will see Mt. Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain) (6,993 m) right next to us. We will also explore the vibrant market at Lakeside.

Day 03 Drive from Pokhara to Kande, and Trek to Deurali (2232m./7322ft)
After breakfast, we will begin to drive towards Kande. From here, we will ascend for around one and a half hours to reach the beautiful hamlet of Australian Camp (2,100 m). Further, we will ascend towards Pothana and then to Deurali where we will stay for the night.

Day 04 Trek from Deurali to Forest Camp (2460m./8070ft)
We will wake up early in the morning, have our breakfast, and leaving the main Annapurna trail, we will follow a forested ridge to reach Forest Camp. From here onwards, we will not find any tea houses along the way, therefore, we will carry our lunch and be self-sufficient. Passing through rhododendron forest, we will ascend and reach Forest Camp.

Day 05 Trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp (2985m/9793ft)
We will ascend through beautiful rhododendron forest following a ridge. At Low Camp, we will find a couple of teahouses. As we move further, the view of Mt. Machapuchare (6,993 m) and Mardi Himal (5,587 m) will become prominent. From here onwards, we will find ourselves closer to the Himalayan foothills and picturesque valleys.

Day 06 Trek from Low Camp to High Camp (3550m/11646ft)
Leaving Low Camp behind, we will ascend to a ridge for stunning views of Mardi Himal (5,587 m) and Mt. Machapuchare (6,993 m). We ascend above the treeline and enter the shrubby alpine zone. On the way, we will see impressive views of Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441 m), and Annapurna South (7,219 m) above a deep valley. The trail will take us to High Camp, which is a small pasture with 3 lodges.

Day 07 Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m/14763ft)
Today, the trail is going to be more compared to the previous days. We will begin ascending on a steep trail that becomes more rugged and uneven. After around 2 hours of ascending, we will reach a ridge top known as Mardi Himal Base Camp. However, it is not the real one. From here, we will again ascend for around 2 hours to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp, which will welcome us with spectacular views of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 m), Mt. Annapurna III (7,555 m), Mt. Machapuchare (6,993 m), Mardi Himal (5,587 m), and Mt. Gangapurna (7,455 m).

Day 08 Trek from Base Camp to Forest Camp (2460m/8070ft)
Today, we will wake up early and have our breakfast surrounded by superb views of high mountain scenery. Then we will descend to Forest Camp following the same route as before.

Day 09 Trek from Forest Camp to the Village of Lwang (1580m/5184ft
Descending steeply through maple and rhododendron forest, we will reach a village near a valley basin. Lwang is a beautiful Gurung village with rich culture and hospitable people. We will experience the Nepali rural lifestyle and taste delicious organic food. Moreover, the waterfall on the outskirts of the village offers one of the most thrilling canyoning adventures.

Day 10 Return to Pokhara (900m/2952ft)
After breakfast, we will leave for Pokhara. We will trek down to the Mardi River basin and drive back to Pokhara. The first hour of the drive will be on an uneven dirt road, and later, the drive will be on a paved road. Upon reaching Pokhara, we will head to our hotel and rest for the day. If we want, we can also go on a guided sightseeing tour.
